This privacy policy applies to the StitchNote mobile application (the "App") created for the fibre arts community.

1. User Data Collection

We respect your privacy. StitchNote does not create or maintain user accounts, nor does it store your personal data on our servers.

All data you create within the App (projects, stash items, notes, stitch counts) is stored locally on your device.

The App uses the following third-party services which may collect information used to identify you:

Google Play Services: Used for app functionality and distribution.
Google Gemini API: The "Dreaming up Ideas" feature allows you to send text prompts to an AI service to generate creative suggestions.
- The text you input into this feature is sent to Google's Gemini API via a secure proxy.
- This data is transient and used solely to generate the response.
- We do not store or use your creative prompts for marketing or model training purposes.

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
